If you are purchasing a mobile home, or you are acting on
behalf of someone purchasing a mobile home, you may request a tax clearance
certificate using this form. Your request will be forwarded to a property tax service
representative for processing. To avoid delays, please fill in the form as completely
and accurately as possible.
There is no charge for the
initial tax clearance certificate.
If there is a tax liability and you are not the escrow or title
officer clearing this mobile home for sale, you will be contacted for instructions on how
to complete your request. This tax liability may include an estimate of
the current year taxes if the current year taxes have not yet been enrolled.
All tax liabilities must be paid prior to receiving a tax clearance
certificate.
If you are requesting a
subsequent tax clearance certificate to replace one that has expired
prior to title transfer, the fee is $10.00. Your request will not be processed until funds are received.
